caravan at chalice.jpg

Caravan is an unplugged, contemplative worship. We pray, we sing, we participate in contemplative reflections with Scripture (either a lectio divina or a gospel contemplation where you imagine yourself at the scene) and then have a very simple Eucharist together. Here at Northcote Uniting we practice an open table, which means that all are welcome to participate in Communion as they feel led.

We feast together before the service. Because eating together is key to healthy spirituality, and rejoicing is the basic stance of Christians.
